What it does and when to use it

Ctrl+Shift+5 (Ctrl+%) formats the selection as a percentage with no decimals. The value does not change; 0.125 shows as 13%.

The common mistake

Typing 12.5 and formatting it as a percent, which gives 1250%. Enter the fraction, or type 12.5% directly.
