Drill: Copy a total across. Pro drill. Twenty-five drills are free.
What it does and when to use it
Select the formula cell and the cells to its right, then Ctrl+R copies it across. It is how a five-year schedule gets built from one year of formulas.
The common mistake
Forgetting to lock the column of an input before filling right, so year two reads from the wrong cell. Press F4 on the reference first.

Questions
Why did my fill right break the formula?
A reference moved that should have stayed. Lock its column with F4 until it reads $B3, then fill again.
