Jump to the edge of the data in Excel: Ctrl+Arrow (Mac: Cmd+Arrow)
| Windows | Ctrl+Arrow |

Drill: Jump to the bottom. Free, no sign-up.
What it does and when to use it
Ctrl with an arrow key moves the active cell to the last filled cell in that direction. If the next cell is blank it jumps to the next filled cell instead. On a sheet with thousands of rows it replaces scrolling entirely.
The common mistake
Pressing it in a column with a gap: the jump stops at the gap, not at the bottom. Press again to cross it, and use the stop as a free check for holes in the data.

Questions
Why does Ctrl+Down go to row 1048576?
There was nothing below the active cell, so Excel jumped to the last row of the sheet. Press Ctrl+Up to come back, or start from a cell that has data under it.
What is Ctrl+Arrow on a Mac?
Cmd+Arrow. Ctrl+Arrow on a Mac switches desktops unless you change the Mission Control shortcuts.
