Lock the row only
An Excel shortcut drill from Shortcutdrill. Solve it with a live sheet in your browser with a limit on key presses, and it is checked the moment you submit.
The task
C13 multiplies B13 by the rate in B12. Lock just the row of the B12 reference (B$12), then fill C13 down to C16.
What this drill teaches
Two presses of F4 give B$12: the row is pinned and the column is free. That is enough for a fill down, and the formula still moves correctly if it is later filled right.
A hint if you get stuck
Windows: F2, F4 twice (B$12), Enter, select, Ctrl+D. Mac: Fn+F4. The drill allows 9 key presses.
