Excel Alt key shortcuts (ribbon key tips)

Press Alt in Excel for Windows and letters appear on the ribbon. Press them in sequence and the command runs. The sequences are stable across versions, so once learned they stay learned.

Excel for Mac has no key tips. For each sequence below the Mac column gives the nearest shortcut or the menu path; a few have no keyboard route on a Mac and say so.
